Why I started this
Guardian Roasters is run by one paramedic, not a marketing team.
My name is James — most people call me Gonzo. I'm a paramedic and a veteran, and I've spent enough years on ambulances and in station kitchens to know what coffee means on hour eighteen of a twenty-four.
It isn't a luxury. It's the thing that gets you sharp for the next call, and the thing you hand a partner who just had a bad one. Somewhere between those two, coffee stopped being a beverage and became part of the job.
So I built Guardian Roasters for the people I work alongside — law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections, and everyone else in public service whose day doesn't end when the sun goes down. Specialty-grade beans, roasted the day your order comes in, shipped free anywhere in the country.
I still run calls. This is a one-person operation, which means when you email, you get me.
